I was surfing a bit, ready to call it a day, when I ran across this article, from the Associated Press, at the MSNBC web site. The article is talking about the terrorists who have surrendered to the Saudis during their amnesty program. In the article described, UBL thusly (emphasis mine):
al-Qaida chief Osama bin Laden, a Saudi-born dissident who portrays the United States as the enemy of Islam and the Saudi royal family as too close to America.Dissident Osama bin Lauden? Are you kidding me?
Seriously, are they describing somebody who organized a few protests or the terrorist who was responsible for 9/11?
Hey Associated Press, just so you know, A dissident is "a person who dissents from some established policy". They hold protests, sing Kumbaya, and occasionally starve themselves to make a point. The guy that did this:

is a terrorist and a murder. You moral equivalency dorks.
Are you seriously suggesting that the media
is being soft on bin Laden? If that's true,
it should come as no surprise since our
president has said that he is "truly not that
concerned about him." Maybe the media
is actually reflecting the presidents own
moral equivalance? Good to see, also,
that there is still no shame in exploiting
the pain of the 9-11 families to make your
little digs at the "liberal media."
Real classy picture,.. great reminder of our
presidents inability to lead, I think...
