Triumph of the Will Call

I usually don't comment on opinion columns in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, but this one by Jay Bookman is interesting. He writes:

A number of political indicators ... record box-office numbers for "Fahrenheit 9/11," among others -- make it obvious that the Democratic base is more fired up about removing the current administration than at any time in living memory.

The question this brings up is "Will F9/11 influence the election"?

If it does, I suppose we can look forward to a bunch of propaganda films before the next Presidential election. I propose one with the thesis that John Kerry is a robot assembled by international ketchup interests.

As a matter of fact, I already have proof: If you watch Kerry carefully after he completes a speech, you can sense the gears clanking before he shifts into his pol.smile subroutine.
